Simple Online Loan Application

The online application process for the Prime Minister’s Youth Lawn Scheme is user-friendly and available in both English and Urdu. Through a centralized platform, all loan applicants can easily apply by following a four-step process. The portal, accessible via the official website, allows applicants to submit their applications directly to participating banks. The steps include filling out Personal Information, Business Information, providing loan details, and specifying financing details. This streamlined approach ensures easy access to the loan facility for everyone.

Centralized Loan Approval Process

The State Bank of Pakistan has developed a centralized system for the verification of each applicant’s details, such as any pre-acquired loan, physical verification of their residence, and the business plan they submit. Based on these checks, the loan will either be approved or rejected according to the financing policy of the bank. Once a decision is made, the applicant will receive an SMS on their registered number. The bank will also monitor credit utilization through an independent monitoring process. This scheme is available only for people living in Pakistan, and overseas Pakistanis cannot benefit from it, with all applications submitted online.

Affordable Housing Initiative

The Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme, launched by former Prime Minister Imran Khan in 2019, was designed to provide shelter for the poor, homeless, and government employees. It focused on offering housing facilities to the middle class, ensuring they could own a house. Drawing from international experiences, the program prioritizes poor sections of society by providing necessary amenities without displacing people from slums. In times of floods, this initiative also provided money and easy loans for building houses. The State Bank encouraged all banks to participate, making the scheme accessible, especially in Lahore, where it has been running successfully with many people benefiting.
